F1 IN SCHOOLS

F1 in Schools is the world’s most exciting STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) based project – an initiative aimed at engaging students in STEM subjects in and out of the classroom.

Working as a team, students use CAD software, UP 3D Printers and CNC machinery to design and manufacture an F1 scaled model car – sticking to the processes followed in Formula 1, from business plan to car design. Finally, their designs are put to the test on the race track, where they’ll see which team has created the fastest car.

THE 4X4 IN SCHOOLS TECHNOLOGY CHALLENGE

This innovative educational project is aimed at engaging young people between 11 and 19 years old in STEM subjects. The challenge involves four to six team members working with UP 3D Printers, CNC machines and CAD technology to design and manufacture a radio-controlled four-wheel drive vehicle that’s able to negotiate a specially designed test track.
